Nokia 7.1 with HDR-10 display and Android 9 launched in India

HMD has launched the Nokia 7.1 in India. The phone is priced at INR 19,999 ($287) and will be available across all major outlets and Nokia website starting December 7.

Airtel subscribers will get additional data on select plans upon purchasing the phone. HDFC Bank customers will get special cashback offers when purchasing on EMI.

The Nokia 7.1 is Nokia’s latest mid-range smartphone. It has a 5.84-inch FHD+ display with HDR-10 support, a first for a device in this class. The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage.

On the back is a dual camera with a 12MP f1.8 primary camera with dual-pixel autofocus and a 5MP depth sensor. The primary camera uses Zeiss optics. On the front is a 8MP f2.0 shooter. The battery on the Nokia 7.1 is a 3060mAh and supports fast charging.

Android 9 Pie beta is now out for the Nokia 6.1 Plus

Today Nokia has made the first beta of Android 9 Pie available for the 6.1 Plus. This has been officially announced on Twitter by Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer.

If you want to give it a try, you’ll need to head to Nokia Beta Labs and grab the update from there. Obviously since this is a beta you should expect to see bugs, things may not run very smoothly at this stage. So it usually isn’t advisable to install such a release on your main phone, but in the end it all depends on how patient you are and how much of a tolerance to issues you have.

Either way, the finalized Android 9 Pie update for the Nokia 6.1 Plus should be out in a few weeks, and become available to all of the units ever sold.

After months of beta updates, Android Pie was finally released in its stable avatar earlier this month. The update has started rolling out to the Pixel range of handsets as well as the Essential Phone. To strengthen its focus in the budget smartphone segment, Google on Wednesday announced the arrival of Android 9 Pie (Go edition), successor to last year’s Android Oreo (Go edition) that was unveiled back in December 2017. The latest update brings major features such as a boost to internal storage, faster boot times, security features like verified boot, and a dashboard to monitor data consumption.

Google also stated that the first devices with Android Pie (Go edition) will hit shelves later this Fall, however exact dates have not been mentioned. Existing smartphones that run Android Oreo (Go edition) are expected to get the major software update sometime later this year or early next year. These include phones like the Nokia 1, Lava Z50, Micromax Bharat Go, and the Spice F311.

The features coming to these budget smartphones with Android 9 Pie (Go edition) include up to 500MB of additional storage right out-of-the-box, claimed faster boot times, verified boot, and an accessible dashboard for data tracking. Android Pie (Go edition) will come with fewer preloaded apps and newer apps that are lighter. It will also have security features such as Find My Device built-in, and offline app install scans. “Collectively, these features help solve some of the most common pain points for entry-level device owners: storage, performance, data management, and security,” said Sagar Kamdar, Director of Product Management, Android.

Late last month, Google had updated its YouTube Go app with a new .yt file extension that allowed users with Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphones to save YouTube offline videos to their gallery. The Google Go app was updated with webpage voice dictation and a new Navigation for Google Maps Go extension app was released.

Google claims that more than 200 handsets, in over 120 countries across the globe, now run Android (Go edition) – and that more than 100 manufacturers already have plans to release similar phones before the end of the year.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is set to launch next week but you don’t have to wait for that to reserve the flagship. The Galaxy Note 9 will be launched at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on August 9, but countless leaks and rumours over the past few months have already hinted at most of the features of the upcoming phablet. The South Korean giant has probably realised that many interested buyers can’t wait to get their hands on the Galaxy Note 9, and as a result, it is offering reservations to be put down for “the latest Galaxy smartphone.” Previous reports have indicated that the Galaxy Note 9 may go on sale on August 24 and if you want to be one of the first people to buy the handset, you can reserve it right now.

Samsung will be hosting an event next Thursday to officially launch the “next Galaxy smartphone.” Most of the specifications and pricing details of the Galaxy Note 9 have been leaked via multiple sources and there’s a lot to be excited about the upcoming handset. As spotted by Droid Life, you can reserve the Galaxy Note 9 to ensure a guaranteed delivery on August 24. You can go to Samsung’s siteor its app on Google Play Store, and submit your name, email ID, and carrier model of choice to reserve the smartphone. By doing so, you will get early access to pre-orders and Samsung promises a guaranteed delivery the day it goes on sale. As of now, the offer is limited to the US.

Notably, this is just a reservation and not a pre-order for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Users do not have to pay for anything right now, as the process is just meant to ensure that they have a handset reserved for delivery on launch day. Also, on the site and the app, Samsung has mentioned an exchange offer that gives a discount of up to $450 (roughly Rs. 30,800) on the Galaxy Note 9. However, the company has not listed the price, storage options, and colour variants.

Coming to the colour variants, a new report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will not come in a Grey colour variant. Several previous reports had suggested that the Galaxy Note 9 will arrive in Black, Blue, Copper, Lavender, and Grey colour options. A tipster on Twitter has suggested that Samsung has probably cancelled the “Grey/ Silver version of the Galaxy Note 9.” Notably, there is no official confirmation of the report. We can expect more details to surface in the days leading up to the launch, which is when Samsung will unveil its latest flagship globally.

To recall what we know so far based on previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could come with an upgraded display and an improved S Pen. A recent Geekbench listing highlighted that the handset will be powered by an Exynos 9820 SoC, though it was initially speculated to have the same Exynos 9810 SoC that debuted on the Galaxy S9 family earlier this year and its US version is likely to have the Snapdragon 845 SoC.

It is also rumoured that Samsung will offer a 512GB storage option this year to give plenty of space to the Galaxy Note 9 users. Further, the new Galaxy Note model could come in multiple colour options and new colour combination to attract users. It is also expected to have an upgraded dual rear camera setup and a larger battery than what was found on the Galaxy Note 8. Past rumours have also indicated that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will come with a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Samsung is also expected to offer an upgraded dual rear camera setup on the Galaxy Note 9 with a list of new features to optimise images and videos.

Redmi S2 debuted in China on Thursday after much anticipation. The new Xiaomi smartphone, which is the first Redmi S series handset, is claimed to be the “best Redmi selfie phone”. The Redmi S2 also has a bunch of artificial intelligence (AI) features that are aimed at distinguishing the experience. These features help enhance shots and enable Xiaomi’s proprietary Xiao Ai voice assistant. Also, the handset includes a thin-bezel display and a Face Unlock feature that both are currently in trend. But interestingly, the price of Redmi S2 brings it to the segment that already has Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5. That same segment also has the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 as a strong contender. Similarly, there is the Honor 9 Lite that is facing heat from the Redmi Note 5 and ZenFone Max Pro M1 but competing against various other models available under the ultra-popular sub-Rs. 15,000 price bracket in India.

Here’s a comparison of the Redmi S2 with that of the Redmi Note 5, ZenFone Max Pro M1, and Honor 9 Lite.

The Redmi S2 price starts at CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 10,600) for the 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage variant, while its 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 13,700). Both variants will go on sale in China on May 17 via Suning.com in three colour options, namely Champagne Gold, Platinum Silver, and Rose Gold. Details about the price and availability of the Redmi S2 in India haven’t yet been revealed.

The Redmi Note 5 price in India starts at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant, while its 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 11,999. Both Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 variants come in Black, Gold, Lake Blue, and Rose Gold colour options and are available for purchase in India via Flipkart, Mi Home, and Mi.com. It will also soon go on sale through Xiaomi’s offline retail partners.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 price in India starts at Rs. 10,999 for 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage variant, whereas its 4GB RAM, 64GB storage model is available at Rs. 12,999. The handset comes in Midnight Black and Grey colour options. It is available for purchase exclusively through Flipkart.

Lastly, the Honor 9 Lite price in India starts at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant, while its 4GB RAM, 64GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. Both are available for purchase via Flipkart and the Honor India Store. The ZenFone handset comes in Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, Glacial Grey colour options.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Xiaomi Redmi S2 runs Android-based MIUI 9 and features a 5.99-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) display with 70.8 percent NTSC colour gamut. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 625 SoC, coupled with either 3GB or 4GB RAM – depending on the model purchased. The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup that comprises a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. There is an LED flash, and the camera setup supports features such as AI Portrait mode, HDR, and facial recognition. On the front, the Redmi S2 has a 16-megapixel sensor that has 2-micron pixel size – combining four pixels into one pixel. The front camera also supports AI Portrait Mode, AI Smart Beauty, Front HDR, and Face Unlock.

For storing content, the Redmi S2 has 32GB and 64GB storage options that both are expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) via a dedicated card slot. The smartphone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, infrared, and a proximity sensor. Besides, the smartphone packs a 3080mAh battery and measures 160.73×77.26×8.1mm.

The dual-SIM Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 runs Android Nougat-based MIUI 9 and features a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 84 percent NTSC colour gamut. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC, coupled with either 3GB or 4GB RAM. For taking pictures and recording videos, the Redmi Note 5 has a single, 12-megapixel camera sensor on the back with an f/2.2 aperture lens and an LED flash. The front of the smartphone bears a 5-megapixel sensor that has an LED selfie-light module. The front camera supports features such as Beautify 3.0 beautification tech.

Xiaomi has provided 32GB and 64GB storage options on the Redmi Note 5 that both are expandable via microSD card in a hybrid dual-SIM format. On the connectivity front, the handset has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB. The smartphone packs a 4000mAh battery and measures 158.5×75.45×8.05mm.

In contrast, the dual-SIM (Nano) Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 runs pure Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and is claimed to receive Android P and Android Q upgrades. The handset features a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS FullView display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, paired with Adreno 509 GPU and either 3GB or 4GB RAM. The smartphone has a dual camera setup on the back that includes a 13-megapixel primary Omnivision sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensing sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, 85.5-degree wide-angle lens. Both camera setups have an LED flash.

In terms of storage, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 has up to 64GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). The smartphone has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB. Besides, it packs a 5000mAh battery and measures 159x76x8.46mm.

Contrary to the Redmi S2, Redmi Note 5, and ZenFone Max Pro M1, the dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 9 Lite runs Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 and features a 5.65-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone has an octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, coupled with 3GB or 4GB RAM. Asus has provided four cameras on the Honor 9 Lite that sit on the front and back as dual camera setups. Both have a 13-megapixel primary camera sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. On the back, there is also an LED flash and a PDAF lens.

On the storage front, the Honor 9 Lite has 32GB and 64GB storage options – both of which are expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. The smartphone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB. Sensors on the handset include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer (digital compass), and a proximity sensor. At last, the Honor 9 Lite packs a 3000mAh battery and measures 151×71.9×7.6mm.

Honor 9 Lite 4GB RAM Model Available in Open Sale Till Sunday

Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei’s, has announced the availability of the Honor 9 Lite smartphone in an open sale – specifically, the 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage model – until Sunday, April 8. The 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model will now be made available in a bi-weekly flash sale exclusively on Flipkart. Honor 9 Lite is one of the smartphones that the company had launched in India this year, in its efforts to make its mark in the affordable smartphone segment. Positioned in the sub-Rs. 15,000 segment, the smartphone is the successor to the Honor 8 Lite. The key feature of the handset is the presence of four cameras – two at the back, and two at the front.

As part of the company’s Honor World Carnival, which started on April 4, Honor 9 Lite (4GB RAM) buyers will be able to avail an additional exchange offer of Rs. 2,000. The Honor 9 Lite is available in India at a price point of Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant and Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB variant. To note, Honor recently announced the rollout of ‘Ride Mode’ feature via HOTA update (Huawei over the Air) for Honor 9 Lite in India.

To recap the specifications, the Honor 9 Lite is a dual-SIM smartphone and runs Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0. It sports a 5.65-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, coupled with 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. Also, it is equipped with dual camera setups on the front as well as the back – both with 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. It recently started receiving the Face Unlock feature via a HOTA update in India.

Both the Honor 9 Lite variants come with inbuilt storage expansion via microSD card (up to 256GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. Connectivity options in the handset include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery. It measures 151x 71.9×7.6mm and weighs 149 grams.

Nokia 9: What we know so far

Imagine you were the biggest name in the telecom industry a while ago. Then you lost your mojo. Then the awakening happened and you have been trying to reclaim that title ever since and have a seat at the big table. What, do you, do?

Nokia went from big guns to total bust, super fast. Some argue, that they were too proud and that led them to have an ego, the size of a brontosaurus. Some say, that they believed their systems were far too superior to modify at any level. But what happened, happened and there seems no coming back from the abyss they have fallen into.

The Windows thing, however brief, didn’t really get them anywhere. Fast forward some time more and they came out with the the Nokia 3 smartphone with an Android Version 7, middle of last year. Then came the 5, 6 and 8 (also called the sirocco). But as things stand, none of these phones were good enough to put up a ﬁght with the likes of Apple, Google, Samsung, or even the economy players like VIVO or LG or Lenovo.

However, now there is chatter in the back alleys of mobile tech world, that Nokia is once again gearing up with their latest attempt to create a ﬂagship, the Nokia 9. And if this chatter is to be believed, they may have just had the least creative idea in the rule book. Take all the good/ attractive things from the all the players out their, add no value of their own, ﬁt them all in yet another chassis that looks like all the other phones out there and slap the 5 letter word on the back, NOKIA!

If the rumours are to be believed, here is what the Nokia 9 will offer. Under Display Fingerprint scanner (UD), which we have already seen on the VIVO X20 Plus UD. It will also go bezel-lessand therefore have an on screen notch, again taken from the mighty X, as is. And with the Android P supporting the notch, it kinda makes sense for phone manufacturers to go that way. Who cares if the “pioneer” tag remains with Apple.

The tech spec leaks suggest that Nokia 9 will run on a Snapdragon 845 chipset, with up to 8GB of RAM. The only thing we can be sure of (like 98.3%!?) is that will sport good Zeiss glass, both front and back. What remains to be seen is wether they take the Apple dual camera approach or the Pixel smart single camera setup.

Reports from China state that this phone might see the light of day in the Q3 at the earliest. And if that is the case, Nokia, by then, will probably have lost the edge of UD ﬁnger print scanner experience to Galaxy Note 9 (of which there are no high hopes) that is scheduled to be released in the next couple of months.

Nokia, as a brand, will however remain to be that player, who has scored all there is to score, create a tall order of records under their belt, change the game, albeit many times over. So in essence, Nokia is the Micheal Schumacher of telecom. And who on this planet, in their right minds, can hate Micheal?

Honor will reportedly start rolling out the EMUI 8 update in February

All new Honor smartphones will now reportedly come with FullView Display (18:9 display). Huawei has recently launched several smartphones in the budget, mid-range, and premium segments, and most of them feature the FullView Display. But now, as it appears, the company may completely ditch the screens with 16:9 aspect ratio and adopt the 18:9 displays.

According to a well-known tipster Roland Quandt, Honor is migrating its complete smartphone lineupto the new aspect ratio displays. In a tweet on Wednesday, Quandt cited Honor Germany as saying, “there will be no new Honor phones that do not have a FullView display (18:9 ratio) from this point on.” Honor already has several smartphones in its lineup that feature the FullView display, including recently launched handsets like Honor 9 Lite, Honor 7X, Honor View 10, and Honor 9i, among others.

Honor has started rolling out the EMUI 8.0 update, based on Android 8.0 Oreo, for Honor 8 Pro and Honor 9 smartphones. Regarding the Android Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 update, Quandt said Honor 7X users will have to wait till the second quarter of this year. Also, the EMUI 8 update may come to Honor 8 soon, but apparently it won’t be based on Android 8.0 Oreo. Honor Germany has reportedly said that it “will have ‘a surprise’ in this regard [Oreo for Honor 8] in the near future”. An earlier report had also mentioned that the company will provide the Android Oreo experience on Honor 8 by porting its EMUI 8.0 skin.

Meanwhile, Huawei has been teasing a lot of new features for its Honor smartphones. Last month, the company put out a video teasing its next-gen technology for fast charging. The new technology is claimed to charge smartphone batteries 10 times faster than conventional batteries. As per the setup shown in the video, Huawei said smartphones will get charged in just a few minutes.

Honor 9 Lite, the new smartphone model by Huawei brand Honor that was launched in India last week, is claimed to have gone out of stock within 6 minutes of becoming available through its first flash sale in the country via Flipkart at 12am IST (midnight) on Sunday, January 21.

The Chinese company also hosted a second flash sale at 12pm IST (noon) on Sunday, January 21, that was completed in three minutes. While the total number of Honor 9 Lite units sold through the two flash sale rounds hasn’t been revealed, the company stated in a statement on Monday that over 150 units of the smartphone were sold per second in the first flash sale. The third flash sale for the Honor 9 Lite was held at 12pm IST (noon) on Monday and the fourth sale round is scheduled for 12pm IST (noon) on Tuesday, January 23. The company is ultimately aiming to bring more stocks on Flipkart to ensure speedy delivery of its latest smartphone in the country.

“The sold-out response for Honor 9 Lite again establishes the fact that consumers want a wholesome experience with meaningful innovations. Honor 9 Lite is a complete package given its excellent price, specifications and Honor’s best in class technology, and will prove to be a game changer smartphone in the budget segment,” said P Sanjeev, Vice President, Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group, in the statement.

Honor 9 Lite price in India

Honor 9 Lite price in India starts at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant, while its 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 14,999. Both variants come in three colour options, including Sapphire Blue, Glacier Grey, and Midnight Black. The smartphone comes with a complimentary back cover and customers making orders through Citibank credit and debit cards are entitled to receive 10 percent cashback. Also, Flipkart is offering a guaranteed buyback value of up to Rs. 7,000.

Honor 9 Lite specifications

Based on Android 8.0 Oreo, the dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 9 Lite runs EMUI 8.0 and features a 5.65-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone has an octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kiri 659 SoC, paired with 3GB and 4GB RAM versions. Also, the Honor 9 Lite has four camera sensors on the front and back sides. The dual camera setups on the front and back have 13-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel secondary camera sensors alongside a rear-facing LED flash and PDAF autofocus system.

The Honor 9 Lite comes in two storage options – 32GB and 64GB, both of which are expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. The handset has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer (digital compass), and proximity sensor. Plus, the smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery that is touted to deliver a talk time of up to 20 hours on a 3G network. It measures 151×71.9×7.6mm and weighs 149 grams.

Honor 9 Lite India Launch Set for Today: Live Stream, Expected Price, Specifications, and More

Honor 9 Lite India launch is set for Wednesday, and will be unveiled at an event in New Delhi. The affordable quad-camera smartphone has been teased for launch in the country since earlier this month, and will be a Flipkart-exclusive. The Honor 9 Lite was first launched in China in late December, and is in fact the second major launch by the Huawei brand in the country this year, following the launch of the Honor View 10 earlier this month. To recall, the View 10 was exclusive to Amazon India. The Honor 9 Lite India launch will be live streamed, and you can check it out below. The launch begins at 12:30pm IST.

Honor 9 Lite expected price in India

Honor 9 Lite price in India can be expected to be roughly around the same as the smartphone’s China price. To recall, in China, the Honor 9 Lite price began at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 11,700) for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant. Next up, the 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant was priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,600), while the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant ws priced at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 17,500).

Notably however, the Flipkart listing indicates that the Honor 9 Lite’s 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant will be not be launched in India. Thus, only the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variants are expected to be made available in the country. For now, Flipkart has not teased any launch offers.

Honor 9 Lite specifications
The dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 9 Lite runs EMUI 8.0, based on Android 8.0 Oreo, out of the box. It bears a 5.65-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and pixel density of 428ppi. It is powered by a Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC (four cores clocked at 2.36GHz, and four cores clocked at 1.7GHz) coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM.

The Honor 9 Lite bears dual camera setups on both the front and back, as we mentioned. In both the front and back, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with a 2-megapixel secondary camera. The rear camera offers PDAF autofocus, apart from LED flash, in addition. The Honor 9 Lite offers with either 32GB or 64GB of inbuilt storage depending on the variant, both of which are expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.

Connectivity options on the Honor 9 Lite include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB with OTG support. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer (digital compass), and proximity sensor. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery that’s rated to deliver a talk time of up to 20 hours on 3G, and a standby time of up to 24 days – it charges fully in about 2 hours 20 minutes, the company said. It measures 151×71.9×7.6mm, and weighs 149 grams.
