Just in time for the holidays, the Pebble Time Round drops $50 off its price tag and now sells for $199.99.

Smartwatches and other wearable devices are expected to be among the most popular items this holiday season and various price cuts already popped up to sweeten the deal.
The sleek Pebble Time Round smartwatch started shipping back in early November, stirring lots of interest among consumers. The wearable sports a circular design, it’s slim and lightweight, and can also serve as a fitness tracker with steps and calorie counting, as well as sleep pattern monitoring.
The smartwatch launched at a $249.99 price point, which was already lower than that of many other wearables currently available on the market. The new holiday discount now makes it even more attractive, as the $199.99 Pebble Time Round could make its way to many consumers’ Christmas lists.
This is definitely an enticing offer allowing for significant savings, but it seems that it’s only available for interested customers in the U.S. While the Pebble Time Round now costs $199.99 in the United States, the same wearable is a hefty €299.99 in Europe, with no discount currently in store. Pebble made no comment as to whether it will cut the price of its Time Round smartwatch for Europeans as well.
As a reminder, the Pebble Time Round features a color e-paper display that’s always-in and has a neat LED backlight, protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass for extra scratch-resistance. The smartwatch has a sleek chassis and bezel made of stainless steel, while its bands are made of leather and come in two sizes: 14 mm or 20 mm.
In terms of compatibility, one of the most praised aspects of the Pebble Time Round is the fact that it works with both Android and iOS, which makes it suitable for a wider user pool. The wearable works with Android 4.3 or newer and iOS 8 or later. On the other hand, the gadget also received some criticism for not having enough available apps.
Pebble makes no mention of when this $50 discount will expire, but interested customers might want to take advantage of this offer while it still lasts. To receive the gadget by Dec. 24 with standard shipping, U.S. customers should place their order by Dec. 17.
