With Black Friday just a few days away, a ton of retailers have been up and at ’em, spreading deals here and there, and mobile carriers aren’t planning on missing out on all the fun.
T-Mobile has launched Uncarrier Unwrapped, sending a special gift each week over the course of a full month, and the magenta network has just unveiled its first gift: unlimited 4G LTE for three whole months.
“We’ve had a fantastic year, and we’re going to spread that T-Mobile cheer by starting with the most important people first … our existing customers! Now you get Unlimited LTE data on our blazing fast network for three full months as a gift from the Uncarrier to you,” John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile,says in a news release.
The perk will automatically apply to all active postpaid Simple Choice subscribers as of Nov. 23, 2015, and it will run from Dec. 1, 2015 until March 1, 2016. However, there’s a caveat: customers will have to stick to their Simple Choice plans and must have Binge On active throughout the duration to keep the unlimited 4G LTE data.
T-Mobile isn’t wrapping things up there, though, offering a handful of Black Friday deals starting on Nov. 25, Wednesday. Here’s a list of what subscribers can get their hands on:
1. A 7-inch Alcatel Onetouch Pixi 4G LTE tablet with any qualifying data plan at select T-Mobile stores and online for $0 down and $0 monthly payments.
2. A 32GB Samsung Galaxy S6 for $0 down and $0 per month via the JUMP! On Demand promo with an eligible trade-in.
3. A Samsung tablet with $100 off when bought along with any Samsung smartphone. T-Mobile notes that this is a great offer combined with the Samsung Galaxy S6 deal.
4. A UE Boom Bluetooth speaker at $100 off, which is originally priced at $199.
On top of all those bargains, T-Mobile is also bringing back its iPhone upgrade deal this Cyber Monday, where customers can grab a 64GB or 128GB iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus for the price of a 16GB or 64GB corresponding model respectively.
The uncarrier’s holiday gifts continue with plans to deliver special presents to Sprint, AT&T and Verizon customers as well, going for one carrier per week as part of its Uncarrier Unwrapped promo.
“But that’s not all … we know that Verizon, AT&T and Sprint customers need some holiday cheer, too — so we’ve got presents coming for them. Just wait!” Legere says.
