The new SlimType is the first NFC-enabled smartphone cover that comes equipped with an integrated keyboard while keeping your device’s slim factor.
Initially designed to fit smartphone models such as the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, the SlimType NFC smartphone cover is the first of its kind to hit the market. Made from soft-feeling textiles, the cover works even without batteries, connectors or charging.

In order to sync the smartphone with the SlimType’s integrated keyboard, the user would have to set his smartphone with NFC capability on the keyboard. The next thing he needs to do is to install the required app.

The SlimType smartphone cover is 5.73 inches high, 6.06 inches wide and 0.10 inch thick. It is available in three fashionable color options that include Cherry Red, Black Sapphire and White Pearl.
Customers can get the SlimType smartphone cover at a special introductory price of $39, which will be available for a limited time.
According to SlimType, NFC offers extra data security as compared to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, which explains why they choose the technology over the others.
