The Joint Admission Board (JAB) conducts the JEE (Advanced) exam.
The candidate should be among the top 1,50,000 students (all the categories included) in JEE (Main) to be eligible for the JEE Advanced examination.
The JEE (Main) determines admission to all National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other engineering colleges.
In order to be eligible for JEE (Advanced) 2016, candidates must be born on or after October 01, 1991.
A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) only twice and that too only if he/she attempts it in consecutive years.
Candidates can get the application form on the official website of the JEE Apex Board in the first week of November 2015.
The last date of the application will be in December 2016.
