Xiaomi Mi Max 2 (Review) was launched in India last week, and then made available in its first saleduring the 3rd Mi Anniversary sale. From 10am IST on Thursday, July 27, the smartphone will go on sale again, both online and offline. Online stores include Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and Tata Cliq, while offline stores include Poorvika, Big C, Sangeetha, Croma, Lot, Vijay Sales, Ezone, and Reliance Digital. In the meanwhile, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A (Review) will also be made available in its weekly flash sale via Amazon India at 12pm IST.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 price, launch offers, specifications

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 price in India is Rs. 16,999. The Mi Max 2 launch offers include a Reliance Jio data bundle of up to an additional 100GB 4G data. Users will get up to 10GB additional data on every recharge of Rs. 309 or above, limited to 10 recharges up to May 31, 2018.

The dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) Xiaomi Mi Max 2 runs MIUI 8 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat (with features like Split Screen added), and it sports a 6.44-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with a pixel density of 342ppi, a brightness rated at 450 nits, a 72 percent NTSC colour gamut, 2.5G curved glass, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The company also touts its sunlight legibility. The smartphone is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 506 GPU.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 camera configuration comprises a 12-megapixel rear.camera with a Sony IMX386 sensor (with 1.25-micron pixels), PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, and dual-LED flash. On the front, the Mi Max 2 bears a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and real-time beautification options.

In terms of storage, Xiaomi has launched the 64GB inbuilt storage variant in India, and the storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). As for connectivity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 supports 4G VoLTE, as well as dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v4.2, and GPS/ A-GPS. The smartphone features an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, infrared sensor, fingerprint sensor, and proximity sensor.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 weighs 211 grams, and measures 174.1×88.7×7.6mm. It runs on a 5300mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 (0 to 68 percent charge in 1 hour), and is rated to deliver up to 57 hours of talk time, 18 hours of video playback time, and 31 days of standby time.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A price, offers, specifications

Xiaomi Redmi 4A price in India is Rs. 5,999. The smartphone is available only in a single RAM/ storage configuration in India – 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage. Amazon India is offering up to 30GB additional 4GB data to Reliance Jio users.

The Redmi 4A bears a hybrid dual-SIM card slot, and runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with the Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

It sports a 13-megapixel sensor with PDAF, a 5-lens system, an f/2.2 aperture, and is backed by a LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture on board as well. The Redmi 4A comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).

The Redmi 4A’s connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth v4.1. Sensors on board the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, infrared, and proximity. Dimensions of the new Xiaomi smartphone are 139.5×70.4×8.5mm, and it weighs in at 131.5 grams. Redmi 4A is powered by a 3120mAh battery with fast charging support.

SanDisk iXpand Mini Flash Drive for iPhone, iPad Launched Starting Rs. 2,750

 

After launching its iXpand Flash Drive earlier this year, Western Digital on Monday launched its SanDisk iXpand Mini Flash Drive, presented as a memory solution for iPhone and iPad. The SanDisk iXpand Mini Flash Drive has already been made available in India in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage capacities, with starting prices ranging between Rs. 2,750 to Rs. 7,050. The new flash drive is available online exclusively through Flipkart.

The SanDisk iXpand Mini Flash Drive offers transfer speeds of up to 70Mbps, as per Western Digital’s claims. It features a different design than the drive launched earlier this year and allows users to connect it directly to the iPhone or iPad without having to remove the case, Western Digital said in its release. It comes with a Lightning connector and a USB 3.0 connector that allows for quick and easy transfer of files between iPhone/ iPad and Mac or PC.

“Smartphone and tablet users are creating more content than ever before and we know that customers are looking for physical mobile storage solutions that are easy to use, portable and reliable,” Khalid Wani, managing director sales at Western Digital Corporation India, was quoted as saying in the release. “The new SanDisk iXpand Mini Flash Drive offers iPhone and iPad users an option to capture everything they love without worrying about running out of space,” he said.

The SanDisk iXpand Mini Flash Drive comes with a companion app, called the iXpand Drive app for iPhone and iPad, which automatically backs up users’ camera rolls as well as content from social networking sites including tagged photos from Facebook and Instagram. The companion app also allows users to watch videos directly from the drive as well.

The iXpand Drive app even allows users to cast content from the SanDisk iXpand Mini Flash Drive directly to their television via Chromecast or Amazon Fire TV. The app is already available for download from the App Store, and launches when the SanDisk iXpand Mini Flash Drive is plugged into an iPhone or iPad. The new flash drive from Western Digital features encryption software that password-protects files and allows users to share content while keeping sensitive files protected across devices.

Google, Microsoft, and Tencent Report Adobe Flash Code Execution Vulnerabilities

If you were to go through news regarding Adobe Flash, chances are high that it will be regarding vulnerabilities in the software. In 2010, Steve Jobs publicly wrote about why Flash would not be supported on Apple’s iOS platform, and since then, other mobile operating systems dropped support for Flash as well. It’s 2017, and as you might have guessed by the tone, this news article too talks about new vulnerabilities in Adobe’s ageing and now repeat-offender multimedia software platform.

ZDNet reports of multiple code-execution vulnerabilities within Flash that will affect all major computing platforms – Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS. Adobe has fixed tens of issues and is urging users to update to a version higher than 24.0.0.186.

Google’s Project Zero, a team of security experts entrusted with the task of finding day-zero vulnerabilities within Google’s own software as well as software used by others, pointed out five of these issues. Two issues were reported by Microsoft Vulnerability Research program, three by the Chromium Vulnerability Rewards Program and one by China-based Tencent, one of the largest Internet companies in the world.

Adobe has stated that it had not noticed any of the above-mentioned vulnerabilities being exploited by hackers, unlike the past. Most Web browsers today prevent Flash components on websites from automatically executing, rather hiding them behind a click to execute manually, if the user wants to. Microsoft Edge browser announced deploying this technique in December 2016. Google Chrome is said to have adopted it in September and Mozilla Firefox was said to do the same by August of last year.

Google Chrome to Start Blocking Flash; Switch to HTML5 as Default

In line with its earlier announcement, Google has now confirmed that it will start to de-emphasise Flash in favour of HTML5 from September. The tech giant wants to promote HTML5 as it provides faster load times and consumes less power as compared to Adobe Flash Player.

With its stable Chrome version 53 channel, Google will block Flash and encourage HTML5. For sites running solely on Flash, Google Chrome will speed-break on users’ browsing experience and ask for permission to run.

“Today, more than 90% of Flash on the web loads behind the scenes to support things like page analytics. This kind of Flash slows you down, and starting this September, Chrome 53 will begin to block it,” Google reasons on its blog.

With Chrome 55 in December, Google will make HTML5 the default. It will ask for permission to run Flash on specific sites that only support the Adobe software.

This move doesn’t come as a surprise as Google had announced in May that it plans to reduce ties with Flash through the course of this year. It had announced that by the end of the year, Flash will only be available on click-to-play basis on Chrome

At that time, Google named ten most used websites that run Flash, and white-listed them to avoid over-prompting. The names of some of the white-list websites are YouTube, Facebook, Yahoo, Amazon, Yandex.ru, Live.com, Mail.ru, OK.ru, VK.com and Twitch.tv. These websites will have Flash Player running without any hiccups. However this white-list expires in one year, and by the end of 2017, these websites are expected to make the switch to HTML5.

Google admits Flash played a huge role in the adoption of video and gaming on the Web, but it’s plain to see it failed to keep up with the momentum that’s built up in the recent years. Because of that and various security threats that it poses, all browsers including Firefox, Safari, and Edge are now transitioning to HTML5.

Google Details Plans to Start Blocking Flash in Chrome This Year

In a bid to get more developers to adopt HTML5, Google has announced plans to slowly phase out support for Adobe Flash Player in Chrome. The company looks to implement this change by the fourth quarter, after which Flash will come bundled with Chrome but its presence will not be advertised by default.

It will instead promote HTML5 which provides faster load times and consumes less power. So if any website offers an HTML5 experience, it will be made as the default experience. As many sites still use Flash, Google is not completely blocking it, but is nonetheless discouraging it. If a site absolutely cannot work without Flash Player, then Google will prompt its users to run the plug-in for that domain only.

Google states that Chrome will also keep a track of the domains that the user manually opted for Flash, and open it automatically in subsequent visits. Furthermore, Google has named the ten most used websites that run Flash, and has white-listed them to avoid over-prompting. The names of some of the white-list websites are YouTube, Facebook, Yahoo, Amazon, Yandex.ru, Live.com, Mail.ru, OK.ru, VK.com and Twitch.tv. These websites will have Flash Player running without any hiccups. However this white-list expires in one year, and by the end of 2017, these websites are expected to make the switch to HTML5.

Google is also discouraging the download of Flash Player, by trapping links that redirect to the download page. Some sites like Pandora ask the user to download Flash Player by redirecting them to Adobe’s installation page. Once the user clicks on the download link, Chrome will intercept the request, cancel the navigation, and instead present an ‘Allow Flash Player’ yellow infobar on top. This is merely done in an attempt to get the user to rethink before using Flash.

For Enterprise users, Chrome will enable a setting that gives the option to “Always run Flash content”, for all intranet sites that may use Flash. Even though Google is doing all it takes to get rid of Flash, there are quite a few creative, interactive and gaming sites that use Flash heavily and changing them to HTML 5 now, would be a deep tedious task. Chrome may run Flash on click-to-play basis to discourage its use, but the Web isn’t getting rid of Flash just yet.

The third Xiaomi Mi A2 flash sale in India will be held today, giving buyers a chance to snag a unit of the new smartphone. Key features of the smartphone include the stock Android software, 3,000mAh battery with QuickCharge 4+ fast-charging, and dual rear camera setup. Like before, only the 64GB storage, 4GB RAM variant will be available in the Mi A2 flash sale today. Apart from the new model, the affordable Redmi 5A will also be available in a flash sale. Both the Mi A2 and Redmi 5A flash sales will be held at 12pm IST on Mi.com; apart from that, buyers can head to Amazon India for the former and to Flipkart for the latter model.

The Mi A2 price in India is Rs. 16,999 and the smartphone has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage; there is also a 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage but it is not up for grabs yet. It will come with  3-month subscription to Hungama Music and will come with cashback worth Rs. 2,200 and 4.5TB complimentary data from Jio. Amazon customers will get 5 percent instant discount on HDFC Bank credit cards and no-cost EMIs on HDFC Bank debit and credit cards. As for the Redmi 5A price in India, buyers will have to shell out Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 6,999 for the 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants, respectively. There is Rs. 2,200 cashback from Jio and free Hungama Music access for 3 months.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Xiaomi Mi A2 runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo, and being a part of the Android One programme from Google, is certified to offer an optimised Android experience and timely updates. The smartphone sports a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC (four cores clocked at 2.2GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz) coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM.

 

Xiaomi Mi A2 sports a dual rear camera setup, with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 sensor in the primary camera, featuring 1.25-micron pixels with an f/1.75 aperture. It uses a 20-megapixel IMX376 sensor as the secondary rear camera. The rear camera setup also features a flash module. On the front, the Mi A2 bears the same 20-megapixel sensor, complete with a soft-light flash module. As we mentioned, the Xiaomi Mi A2 comes in two inbuilt storage options – 64GB and 128GB – depending on the variant purchased.

Connectivity options on the Mi A2 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C (v2.0) port – there is no 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone. It bears a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, while other sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The Xiaomi Mi A2 sports a 3,000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4.0.

As for specifications, the budget dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi 5A runs MIUI 9 on top of Android Nougat. It sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display, and is powered by the Snapdragon 425 SoC, paired with 2GB and 3GB RAM options. The Redmi 5A has 16GB and 32GB of onboard storage options that both are expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB) via a dedicated slot.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A smartphone has a 13-megapixel sensor at the back – along with an f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and an LED flash. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. In terms of connectivity, the handset has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor. Lastly, the Xiaomi Redmi 5A packs a 3,000mAh battery and measures 140.4×70.1×8.35mm.

Redmi Note 5 Up for Grabs Today as Xiaomi Announces Surprise Flash Sale

Redmi Note 5 will become available for purchase in India second time this week as Xiaomi announced a surprise flash sale on Twitter. In its tweet early on Friday, Xiaomi said the new Redmi 5 is being made available “on public demand” via Flipkart and Mi.com websites at 12pm IST. The tweets also mentions that the cash on delivery option will only be available on Flipkart, and not Xiaomi’s own website. Notably, the tweet does not mention the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone, while Flipkart listing mentionsboth Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro will be up for grabs; the Xiaomi website says the next Redmi Note 5 Pro sale will be on Wednesday next week. Calls made to company representatives on this matter went unanswered, and we will update the copy when we hear back. The 55-inch Mi TV 4 and 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4A models will also be on sale at 12pm IST on Friday via Flipkart and Mi.com.

Redmi Note 5 price in India, launch offers, specifications

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant and goes up to Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The phone comes in multiple colour options, including Black, Gold, Lake Blue, and Rose Gold. As announced at the time of launch, Xiaomi has partnered with Reliance Jio to give buyers cashback vouchers worth Rs. 2,200 and up to 4.5TB of 4G data on the Jio network. The Redmi Note 5 also comes bundled with an ultra-slim case.

Coming to the specifications, the dual-SIM Redmi Note 5 (Review) runs MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat, and sports a 5.99-inch full-HD (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, and 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, it has an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC, which is clocked at up to 2GHz, paired with Adreno 506 GPU and either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The smartphone also has a rear-facing fingerprint sensor.

Xiaomi has provided a 12-megapixel rear camera sensor on the Redmi Note 5 that comes with an f/2.2 aperture and is in 1.25-micron pixel size. The rear camera sensor is powered by PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) technology and supports EIS (Electronics Image Stabilisation) alongside sporting an LED flash. On the front, the handset has a 5-megapixel camera sensor with an LED selfie flash module.

Both the 32GB and 64GB storage variants support storage expansion via microSD card in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. Further, the smartphone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB and packs a 4000mAh battery. The handset measures 158.5×75.45×8.05mm and weighs 180 grams.

Honor 9 Lite, the new smartphone model by Huawei brand Honor that was launched in India last week, is claimed to have gone out of stock within 6 minutes of becoming available through its first flash sale in the country via Flipkart at 12am IST (midnight) on Sunday, January 21.

The Chinese company also hosted a second flash sale at 12pm IST (noon) on Sunday, January 21, that was completed in three minutes. While the total number of Honor 9 Lite units sold through the two flash sale rounds hasn’t been revealed, the company stated in a statement on Monday that over 150 units of the smartphone were sold per second in the first flash sale. The third flash sale for the Honor 9 Lite was held at 12pm IST (noon) on Monday and the fourth sale round is scheduled for 12pm IST (noon) on Tuesday, January 23. The company is ultimately aiming to bring more stocks on Flipkart to ensure speedy delivery of its latest smartphone in the country.

“The sold-out response for Honor 9 Lite again establishes the fact that consumers want a wholesome experience with meaningful innovations. Honor 9 Lite is a complete package given its excellent price, specifications and Honor’s best in class technology, and will prove to be a game changer smartphone in the budget segment,” said P Sanjeev, Vice President, Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group, in the statement.

Honor 9 Lite price in India

Honor 9 Lite price in India starts at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant, while its 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 14,999. Both variants come in three colour options, including Sapphire Blue, Glacier Grey, and Midnight Black. The smartphone comes with a complimentary back cover and customers making orders through Citibank credit and debit cards are entitled to receive 10 percent cashback. Also, Flipkart is offering a guaranteed buyback value of up to Rs. 7,000.

Honor 9 Lite specifications

Based on Android 8.0 Oreo, the dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 9 Lite runs EMUI 8.0 and features a 5.65-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone has an octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kiri 659 SoC, paired with 3GB and 4GB RAM versions. Also, the Honor 9 Lite has four camera sensors on the front and back sides. The dual camera setups on the front and back have 13-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel secondary camera sensors alongside a rear-facing LED flash and PDAF autofocus system.

The Honor 9 Lite comes in two storage options – 32GB and 64GB, both of which are expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. The handset has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer (digital compass), and proximity sensor. Plus, the smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery that is touted to deliver a talk time of up to 20 hours on a 3G network. It measures 151×71.9×7.6mm and weighs 149 grams.

The Amazon sale has entered its second day, and it is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Discounts and deals from the first day of the sale continue to be on offer, along with a few new deals. Amazon sale offers on mobiles

The discounts on the popular iPhone 7, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 6 are still up for grabs today, with their respective prices dropping to Rs. 43,999, Rs. 35,999, and Rs. 23,999 from their usual listing prices. However, iPhone SE price in Amazon sale has gone up by Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 20,999 compared to yesterday. On the OnePlus 3T 64GB, the price is down to Rs. 27,999, a discount of Rs. 2,000. The top-end Google Pixel XL 32GB has seen its price drop from roughly Rs. 53,000 to Rs. 48,999 as well.

The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro, MRP Rs. 9,490, is Rs. 1,300 cheaper in the sale and can be purchased for Rs. 8,190, while the Honor 6X’s price is down by Rs. 1,000 (now at Rs. 10,999 for 32GB variant, and Rs. 12,999 for 64GB). Lenovo Zuk Z2 64GB (Rs. 10,999), InFocus Epic 1 (Rs. 8,999), Moto G5 (Rs. 10,999), and Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro (Rs. 6,990) have seen their prices drop by Rs. 1,000 in the Amazon sale. Similarly, prices have dropped by Rs. 2,000 for Moto G5 Plus (Rs. 14,999), and Coolpad Note 5 Lite (Rs. 6,999). All above deals come with exchange discounts of varying values, along with cashback offers on Amazon Pay balance and SBI credit and debit cards.

Amazon Xiaomi Redmi 4A flash sale

The Redmi 4A flash sale will start at 3pm on Amazon India, but the above-mentioned cashback offers will not be available on the purchase. On buying the Redmi 4Aa in the Amazon sale, you will get Kindle ebook credit worth Rs. 200, a discount of Rs. 149 on original Xiaomi cases for the smartphone, and up to 30GB additional Reliance Jio data. The smartphone has a 5-inch HD screen, Snapdragon 425 chipset, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, up to 128GB storage expansion support, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, 3120mAh battery, and MIUI 8 software that will slated to get the Android Nougat build.

Amazon offers on TVs

One of the best Amazon sale offers today is on the 55-inch TCL 4K LED Android TV, for Prime members only. The e-commerce site is throwing in a 32-inch TCL television free on the purchase of the Android TV, which is priced at Rs. 62,990 and available with no-cost EMI option. You can also opt for the 40-inch Samsung Full HD Basic Smart LED TV, which is available for Rs. 40,990, a discount of Rs. 6,910.

The 43-inch LG Full HD LED Smart TV can be purchased for a steep discount of Rs. 16,901 in the Amazon sale, with the deal price dropping down to Rs. 37,999. Sanyo’s 49-inch Full HD LED TV is also available at a discount of Rs. 15,500, at a price tag of Rs. 31,490, while the Micromax 43-inch Full HD LED TV is available at Rs. 24,990 after a Rs. 18,000 discount in the sale. The 40-inch BPL Full HD LED television is listed at Rs. 21,990, down Rs. 8,000 from its MRP of Rs. 29,990, while the 32-inch BPL HD-Ready LED TV can be purchased for Rs. 12,990 today under a Lightning Deal, against its standard price of Rs. 19,990.

Amazon offers on laptops, and more electronics

Laptops by Apple, Dell, Lenovo and HP are up to 20 percent cheaper in the Amazon sale. Intel Core i3 (sixth generation) laptops will start at Rs. 22,990, and exchange offers on laptops and TVs will provide discounts of up to Rs. 15,000. There’s discount of up to 50 percent on storage devices and computer accessories, up to 40 percent on wearables, and up to 45 percent on tablets.

JBL speakers will have discounts of up to 50 percent, while F&D models will have discounts up to 40 percent. Similarly, Philips and Sony speakers will have discounts of up to 40 percent and 30 percent, respectively. There will be discounts of up to 60 percent on headphones brands such as Bose, Sony, Philips, Skullcandy etc. On headphones by Sennheiser, the discount is up to 50 percent. Games such as FIFA, Call of Duty and Counterstrike will carry discounts of up to 60 percent, while HTC Vive VR headset will be Rs. 5,000 cheaper in the sale.

TP-Link, D-Link, Netgear, and Digisol routers will have discounts of up to 50 percent, and powerbanks by Intex, Xiaomi, Ambrane, and Lenovo will be up to 65 percent cheaper. Gaming consoles will have minimum discount of Rs. 2,000, while Apple Watch models will be up to 20 percent cheaper. Fitbit trackers will have discounts of up to 30 percent, while Samsung wearables will have a flat Rs. 2,000 discount. There will be discounts of up to 75 percent off on software products, up to 50 percent on home entertainment products and PC accessories, up to 45 percent on tablets and cameras, and up to 35 percent on printers and cartridges.

The Amazon sale will continue till August 12, while the competing Flipkart sale will end on August 11.
